4A Bullard swept White Oak in a three set game Sept. 9. The final score was 25-19, 25-17, and 25-17. The Ladynecks struggled to the keep the score close and the Lady Panthers used that to gain momentum and win the game point by point. Senior Andee Bridges finished with 11 kills, six receptions and four digs. Junior Londyn Baker added six kills and four digs, junior Addy Young four aces and 18 assists and junior Peyton Thompson nine receptions and eight digs.
The Ladynecks started the first set off with a four point lead. The Lady Panthers had first serve, but the Ladynecks broke their serve quickly. When the Lady Panthers got the ball back, they tied the score up and continued to use their momentum to keep scoring. Every chance they got, they would put the ball down for another point.
The Ladynecks close out their preseason schedule with a 13-12 record. The Ladynecks begin district play against the Sabine Lady Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 12.
