White Oak will host Sabine tonight. This game will be a good test for both teams. White Oak aims to extend their winning streak, while Sabine hopes to show some progress.

When Roughnecks are in possession:

Quarterback Jaxsen Ludlow has had a solid season, throwing for significant yards and running hard as well.  Look for him to throw to receivers senior Tyson McKinney, junior Tysen McClain and sophomore Cal Jester. The Roughnecks like to mix up the playing field to keep the other team guessing. 

When Sabine has the ball:

Sabine’s offense has faced challenges all season. They scored only 10 points last week against Tatum and lost 47-0 to Gladewater. Quarterback Griffin Dehoyos has struggled to move the ball downfield, completing 10 of 17 passes for just 54 yds in the last game. Cole Loveless leads the receivers, while Damin Richardson runs the ball for the Cardinals. Sabine needs a strong performance to muster some offense.  

Fun Fact:

Sabine’s quarterback is the grandson of legendary White Oak football coach, Andy Griffin.
